Crabcakes and Case Studies

Yes, my exciting Saturday morning – day for that matter – spent on homework.  I haven’t posted much in regards to estate and garage sale loot, but boy, I have been out and about doing some serious treasure hunting.  I haven’t had a chance to post about any of my scores from the last couple of weeks because of the busy-ness of work and school which is intensifying since the quarter is wrapping up at the end of the month.

What I am finding as I step out treasure hunting at these sales is walking into these homes is like stepping into a time-warp.  Last week I was in a house right out of the 1970’s — replete with shag carpeting, huge stereo speakers and a waterbed.  I didn’t buy any of those items, but did manage to pack my small hatch back with china, furniture, patio/garden items and some seriously gauche jewelry.  Photos forthcoming.  In the interim, here’s how my day started today, crabcakes and case studies.
